BUMS is a 5.5-year undergraduate medical degree focused on the Unani system of medicine, which is based on the principles of ancient Greek (Unani) healing. It emphasizes natural remedies, herbal medicine, and the balance of bodily humors (Akhlat)..

Duration- 5.5 years (4.5 years academics + 1-year internship)

Field- Unani Medicine (Traditional/Alternative System)

Regulated by- Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM), Ministry of AYUSH

• Qualification: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology

• Minimum Marks: 50% in PCB (relaxation for reserved categories)

• Entrance Exam: NEET-UG is mandatory

• Age: Minimum 17 years

• Preferred Language: Knowledge of Urdu or Arabic is an advantage (many classical Unani texts are in these languages).
