Government Dental Colleges

MCC conducts counselling for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats available in Government Dental Colleges across India. Eligible NEET-qualified candidates from any state can participate. 

Central Universities/National Institutes

MCC conducts counselling for BDS seats offered by Central Universities and National Institutes. These institutions provide quality dental education, modern laboratories and extensive clinical training.

Deemed University

MCC conducts counselling for BDS seats in Deemed Universities across India. Students from any state can participate through centralized counselling. 

What is BDS Counselling?

BDS Counselling is the admission process through which eligible NEET-qualified candidates secure admission into Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) colleges across India.

Admissions are conducted through:

  • MCC NEET UG Counselling 
  • State NEET UG Counselling 
  • Government Dental Colleges 
  • Private Dental Colleges 
  • Deemed Universities 
  • Central Universities 

Candidates can participate based on their NEET score, rank, category, domicile status and college preferences.

BDS COUNSELLING PROCESS

Step 1: Registration

Register on MCC or State Counselling Portal.

Step 2: Fee Payment

Pay registration fee and refundable security deposit.

Step 3: Choice Filling

Select preferred BDS colleges.

Step 4: Choice Locking

Lock choices before the deadline.

Step 5: Seat Allotment

Seats allotted based on NEET rank, category and preferences.

Step 6: Reporting

Report to allotted college with original documents.

Step 7: Upgradation

Participate in subsequent rounds for better seat options.
