Government MCC Colleges 15% AIQ Seats

MCC manages counselling for the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats available in Government Medical and Dental Colleges across participating states. These seats are open to eligible NEET-qualified candidates from all over India, providing opportunities to secure admission outside their home state.

What is MCC Counselling?

 The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), conducts centralized online counselling for NEET UG qualified candidates across India. MCC is responsible for admission to 15% All India Quota (AIQ) MBBS/BDS seats, Central Universities, AIIMS, JIPMER, ESIC, AFMC and Deemed Universities.

MCC Counselling Process

Step 1: Registration

Register on the official MCC counselling portal.

Step 2: Fee Payment

Pay the registration fee and refundable security deposit.

Step 3: Choice Filling

Select preferred colleges and courses.

Step 4: Choice Locking

Lock choices before the deadline.

Step 5: Seat Allotment

MCC releases the seat allotment result based on NEET rank, reservation criteria and candidate preferences.

Step 6: Reporting

Report to the allotted college with original documents.

Step 7: Upgradation

Eligible candidates may participate in subsequent rounds for better seat allotment.

Seats Covered Under MCC Counselling

1. 15% All India Quota (AIQ) Seats

MCC conducts counselling for 15% AIQ seats available in Government Medical and Dental Colleges across participating states. These seats are open to NEET-qualified candidates from all over India. 


2. AIIMS Institutions

Admission to all undergraduate medical seats in AIIMS institutions is conducted through MCC counselling based on NEET UG rank.

 

3. JIPMER Institutions

MCC conducts counselling for MBBS seats in JIPMER institutions through the centralized counselling process. 


4. Central Universities

MCC manages admissions for Central Universities including:

  • Banaras Hindu University (BHU) 
  • Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) 
  • University of Delhi (DU) 
  • Faculty of Dentistry, Jamia Millia Islamia 

Admissions are based on NEET UG merit and counselling rules of respective institutions. 


5. Deemed Universities

MCC conducts counselling for 100% seats in Deemed Universities offering MBBS and BDS courses. Students from any state can participate and apply for admission. 


6. ESIC & AFMC Seats

Eligible NEET-qualified candidates can apply for ESIC and AFMC seats through the MCC counselling process.
