Welcome to BookSlot. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the BookSlot mobile application, website, and related services.

By creating an account or using BookSlot, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our services.

1. About BookSlot

BookSlot is an independent educational technology platform designed to help students with NEET UG college discovery, counselling guidance, admission planning, educational resources, and related services.

BookSlot is not a government platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially certified by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), National Testing Agency (NTA), any state counselling authority, or any government organization unless explicitly stated otherwise.

2. Eligibility

You must provide accurate information when creating and using your BookSlot account.

If you are under the age required to independently accept these Terms under applicable law, you should use BookSlot with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian where required.

BookSlot is not intended for children under 13 years of age.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for:

Providing accurate account information

Keeping your login credentials secure

Maintaining the security of your account

Not sharing your account with unauthorized individuals

Not using another person's account without permission

You should notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

Depending on availability, BookSlot may provide features including:

Features may be modified, suspended, or discontinued when necessary.

5. Educational and Counselling Disclaimer

Information provided by BookSlot is intended for general educational and guidance purposes.

College cutoffs, fees, seat availability, counselling rules, eligibility requirements, schedules, rankings, and admission procedures may change.

BookSlot does not guarantee admission to any college, course, counselling round, category, or seat.

Users should independently verify important admission information with the relevant official authorities before making decisions.

6. AI-Generated Information

BookSlot may use artificial intelligence to provide recommendations, explanations, roadmaps, or other assistance.

AI-generated responses may contain errors or incomplete information.

You should verify important information using official sources before relying on it for admission or counselling decisions.

BookSlot does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated recommendations.

7. User Content and Documents

You may upload information and documents through features such as the Document Vault.

You are responsible for ensuring that:

The information you provide is accurate

You have the legal right to upload the documents

Your uploaded content does not violate applicable laws or third-party rights

You do not upload malicious or harmful files

You should not upload unnecessary sensitive information.

8. Purchases and Payments

Certain BookSlot services may require payment.

Prices, service descriptions, and applicable taxes or charges will be displayed before purchase where applicable.

Payment transactions may be processed through authorized third-party payment providers.

BookSlot does not intentionally store complete card, UPI, or banking credentials processed by the payment provider.

For eligible counselling services, payment may be required to confirm a booking.

9. Counselling Services

Where BookSlot offers one-to-one counselling or advisory services, the service is intended to provide personalized guidance between the user and a counsellor.

Booking availability, duration, pricing, cancellation terms, and other conditions may vary by service.

A counselling session does not guarantee admission, a particular college, seat, rank, or counselling outcome.

10. Digital Content

Some educational resources may be provided digitally, including notes, study materials, mock tests, PDFs, planners, and similar resources.

Availability and purchasing functionality for digital products may vary depending on the payment system and platform requirements.

Where applicable, purchases of digital content through the Android application will be subject to the payment and billing requirements of the applicable app store.

11. Refunds and Cancellations

Refund eligibility may depend on the specific service or purchase.

For counselling bookings, cancellation or rescheduling conditions may be communicated at the time of booking.

Where a refund is applicable, it will be processed according to the applicable refund policy and payment-provider processing procedures.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights available under applicable law.

12. Prohibited Activities

You must not:

Use BookSlot for unlawful purposes

Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the application or its systems

Attempt to access another user's account or information

Upload malicious software or harmful files

Reverse engineer or interfere with the service

Scrape or automatically collect data without authorization

Misuse counselling or support services

Impersonate another person or organization

Use BookSlot to distribute fraudulent, abusive, or illegal content

We may restrict or terminate access when necessary to protect users, the service, or our systems.

13. Intellectual Property

BookSlot and its associated content, branding, software, designs, graphics, text, logos, and other materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, redistribute, modify, sell, or commercially exploit BookSlot's proprietary materials without appropriate authorization.

14. Third-Party Services and Links

BookSlot may use or link to third-party services, websites, payment providers, AI services, cloud infrastructure, or other external services.

BookSlot is not responsible for the availability, content, privacy practices, or policies of third-party services.

Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and policies.

15. Availability of the Service

We aim to keep BookSlot available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or available.

Service interruptions may occur because of maintenance, technical problems, network failures, third-party services, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

16. Account Termination

You may stop using BookSlot at any time.

You may also request deletion of your account through the available account deletion functionality.

BookSlot may suspend or terminate an account if there is a violation of these Terms, applicable law, or a risk to the security or integrity of the service.

Some information may be retained where required by law or where necessary for legitimate security, financial, transaction, dispute-resolution, or legal purposes.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, BookSlot is not responsible for losses resulting from:

Reliance on inaccurate or outdated admission information

Changes made by colleges or counselling authorities

Changes in NEET UG counselling rules

College seat availability or allocation decisions

User-provided inaccurate information

Third-party service interruptions

Technical failures beyond our reasonable control

Decisions made solely on the basis of BookSlot recommendations

BookSlot does not guarantee any particular admission or counselling outcome.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Updated Terms will be published on this page with a revised effective date.

Your continued use of BookSlot after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

20. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the applicable laws of India, subject to applicable consumer protection and other mandatory legal rights.
